Do you have by any chance an AMD GPU?

If so, considering the latest driver updates currently face issues with Substance 3D Painter, I advise you to first disable the Sparse Virtual Texturing (Edit > Settings > General > Sparse Virtual Texturing > Hardware support acceleration), and if it doesn't help, rollback the GPU driver version for a previous one.
