Substance Painter 2 (Steam) no longer opening

I purchased Susbtance Painter 2 some years ago via Steam. I recently redownloaded the program to do some personal work only to find that it crashes before launching over and over again. Is this intentional? I would hate to hear that a product that I purchased is being forceably made obsolete. This wouldn't be the first time that this has happened with products via steam so just looking for any assistance.

Thanks for the message.

I can reassure you, this is not intentional. Steam's licenses are perpetual. However we'll need to investigate to find where the issue is coming from.

I advise to try the basics first. Run the app as administrator, update your GPU, and check our Software conflicts' list. Most times, this is where the problem comes from.
