as the title suggests, for some time I have been facing a problem where my substance painter keeps crashing every few minutes, sometimes it will crash as soon as i open it again. Opening task manager after substance painter goes "not respodning", it shoes 0% CPU and GPU usage with RAM being used same as before crash.

Is there any solution to this? any help will be appriciated 😞

Hi Sunny,

Thanks for the message.

First of all, I advise you to follow these steps regarding GPU crashes.

If this doesn't help with your issue, I'd like to take a look at your log (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter), so I can have a better idea on what's happening.

Best regards,

Thanks for the log file.

I suspected the GPU was an AMD. I'm pretty sure (but not confirmed yet) we're facing an issue with the latest AMD drivers. Could you try to rollback your GPU driver for a version from April?

Let me know if this helps.

No problems, let me know if rolling back for a past GPU driver version helped.
