Ambient Occlussion and Curvature Maps BAking Errores

Hi! I'm trying to bake an AO and Curvature map but I keep getting this weird result. On the right arm the maps work great, on the other one however they look awful, it looks as if it was translucent. Why is this happening?

Hi Dave! I figured it out. I didn't freeze transformations on that arm in Maya, it had a -1 on the X axis. I froze the transforms and worked great! Thanks anyway.

Are the normals reversed on that part of the model?
