Batch/Search and Replace Layer Renamer

It would be great if Substance Painter had a Batch Layer Renamer for selected layers.

  • Search and Replace
  • Select Layer by name
  • Add prefix and suffix
  • Remove prefix and suffix based on an input number

 

Our studio pipeline relies heavily on standardized naming and hierarchy stuctures. Having a layer renamer would really improve efficiency for larger scale projects.

 

This Maya plugin has some of the features I listed above:
