I am very new to UV unwrapping and Substance Painter and I am sure I am doing something wrong. I have a basic model in C4D. I unwrap the model in C4D and test it in C4D Paint after unwrapping and the paint works. I then export as .fbx so I can import into Painter. When I do this the geometry is incorrect and so is the UV map. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the question and the screenshots.
From the export parameter window of C4D, I can see that you haven't enable the "Selection Only" option. Is it possible there are hidden objects in the C4D scene that are also exported with the hat?
