Hello all,

I have a question about exporting (for example FBX, OBJ etc) models to Substance Painter regarding units.

My current workflow for the units is to leave the default scale of 1 cm in Maya and interpret it as 1 meter. For example, if I take a cube that is 1 meter, then it stays at 1x1x1 (Recommended workflow from Autodesk).

Now my question is, when exporting to Substance Painter, should I adjust the export of the units, or leave it as is? Should I export the "Test Cube" as 1x1x1 (which is actually only 1cm, but I interpret it as 1 meter) or should I scale it to 100x100x100 for export?

By the way, does this also apply to Mari?

Maybe someone can help me.

Best regards,
