Hi Everyone,

For texturing purpose, should I need to apply the modifiers before exporting FBX from blender to SB Painter. And what other setting should I keep while exporting FBX?

Thanks,
Vasanth

Hello Vasanth,

It kind of depends on the modifiers, but I'd say that in most cases, you want to apply the modifiers before importing in Painter. That being said, Substance 3D Painter almost only relies on UVs to make the texturing. Therefore, as long as the UVs are consistent with and without modifiers, that won't make a huge difference.
