Hello, I am brand new to painter and this is my first post. I am trying to create a simple material that is made of 2 colors and is driven by a noise map. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Dean
This can be done easily in Painter with the help of the gradient filter:

Do you have access to Substance Designer? Such a material is easier to produce in that app and can then be exported as sbsar for application to a model in Painter.

Dave,
Thank you so much for the reply! Yes I do have Designer but unfortunatly I dont yet know what I'm doing with it. In the mean time I have found a material that will suffice. I really want to learn Designer in the future, but my time every day is taken with other tasks at the moment.
Have a great day,
Dean

See below a very simple example of using a noise in Substance Designer to control the blend of two colours (and various other outputs). It might get you started in Designer.
