Hello! This is my first post here so I apologize if I'm not in the proper forum for this specific question. Basically what I'm trying to understand is how do I provide someone with a 3D model that I've textured in Substance painter, in a way that allows them to adjust certain properties of said textures or materials?
For example I've created a lantern in Blender, Imported to Substance and applied some basic materials like painted steel for the body and an opacity channel on some glossy plastic to produce "glass".
However, my inital concern comes from the color of the emission channel for the light itself. I imported everything into Unity and got everything setup but I noticed changing the color of the emission mask for the light material in Unity seems to remove any glow the emission once had at it's default color.
I imagine there must be a way to allow the end user to adjust the color, or various other properties of my materials in a non-destructive fashion. I just can't seem to find out how.
