How to reuse texture?

How can I reuse the texture I did? I forgot that if I separate them, there will be a lot of textures when I export it and I can't apply it properly to Maya. I'm quite a beginner in this software so I'm still not used to it. Hoping for kind responses, thank you! 🙂

Hi @aira_fionah_2351,

Thank you for the question.

Substance 3D Painter creates a Texture Set each time it finds a new material on the imported mesh. In your case, the mesh had 6 different materials (body, brows, eyes, face, hair nose), so you have now 6 different Texture Sets.

If you need to have all these Texture Sets as one single Texture, you'll need to have a single material when importing the 3D mesh in Substance Painter. Unfortunately, that's something you have to do when creating the project.

That being said, you can now try to reimport the mesh.

Edit > Project Configuration > File > Select the single material file > Uncheck the "Preserve strokes postion on mesh" > OK

Please note that you can't CTRL + Z after reimport, so make sure to save the project before doing it.

Let me know if that wasn't really the answer you were looking for.

Regards,

Hello @Cyril Dellenbach,

Thank you for your kind response. I'm sorry to ask but after importing the new mesh, I had a new shader but the texture I have originally done is not visible. The model became all white again. What should I do next? Thank you.
