Issue with glTF/glb Export

New Here ,
Mar 23, 2024 Mar 23, 2024

Hi Everyone,

1) Once I have completed the texturing process then I export the textures with glTF PBR Metal Roughness (output template). Thereafter I import the exported glb file in to blender, the mesh size is too big. Why it's happening? I need to export the same size as it is imported mesh size.

2) Can I select or hide in mesh wise instead of material wise for texturing?

Regards,
Vasanth

Hello Vasanth,

Depending on how the mesh was exported, you can lose "the size" of your mesh. For example, the .OBJ format is unitless, so you can easily change its size when using several applications. That being said, why exporting the mesh if you already have it inside Blender? As long as UVs are similar, you can simply import the textures in Blender.

To hide mesh parts in Substance Painter, you can use the Geometry mask.
