Hi @Ahmed2650519648uk,

This is unusual.

Could you send me your log (help > export log...), so I may investigate ?

Best regards,

I am getting this error regularly now and it is very frustrating that the errors give zero useful information. ZERO.

[Scene 3D] OBJ: unexpected illumination model (0-2 recognized)
[Scene 3D] Skipping one or more lines with the same contents

All uvs are 0-1, I checked outside.
I have tried merging all meshes into one. Rescaling uvs down, auto uvs.
Check geo for non-manifold etc.
I have tried all manor of project variations.

Come on Adobe.

Hello @Ahmed2650519648uk,

Thanks for your log.

Unfortunately, your specs are way below the minimum system requirements for Substance 3D Painter and this can result with a lot of various problems.

With that being said, we can try several things to optimize your projects, but with no guarantee that will work. While creating a project, make sure your Document Resolution is 1024 or below, but not above. Also, I would advise you to avoid the UV Tile workflow as much as possible and to try keeping your 3D models as low as you can.

I hope this will help with your projects, but I am afraid I cannot do much more.

Best regards,

Hi,
I have the same problem but I managed to get my model in by checking the UVs. Sometimes they might not be fully in the squares and slip out a bit, you really need to make sure they don't cross and don't be part of multiple tiles at a time.
I hope this might help someone!
