Materials with different ID's being combined by color

Importing from Blender, baking a complex high poly with about 30 different materials assigned to a low poly single material model.

On the HP model all the colors are different hex color values  but when ctrl dragging materials to create new folders on the LP if a color is even remotely the same it will combine it despite it having a different ID.

For example i have a few different shades of green,  SP assigns the same material to ALL greens.

Is there a way to adjust the tolerance of material separation or a way to better distinguish ID's in Blender before importing?
