My thumbnail layer stack can't display

Hi i'm learning substance painter 3d. I see some video on youtube, Intrucstor use adobe substance (same version with me) but they have mini review thumbnail in layerstack but i can't have anything like this( i just have icon symbol). I try some way to fix but it's not working.

This is an interesting question. The mask thumbnails depend on multiple things. First of all, if you are working with UDIM, Substance 3D Painter will automatically simplify the thumbnails (for optimisation).

 

On the other hand, if you're not working with UDIM you can indeed switch options under Edit>Settings>General>Layer stack options>Use simplified thumbnails

On the pictures you sent, I can see that you're working with UDIM, so as I said, Substance 3D Painter automatically simplify the thumbnails for optimisation, whatever your options are.

 

But am I missing something? Are you not working with UDIM?

Hello, i ve the same problème how do you fix it? When i open the Substance Sample, they change to the scare thumbnail automaticly but when i do File>new>Pbrmetallic... or others> and ok. My thumbnails are spheres and i cant change.
