Just installed Substance Painter, open it and most of the materials and the model I brought in are pink

Fixed the issue with the material but the model is still pink even after placing a material on it

(I also brough in a cube with zero materials on it and it also shows up pink).

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Lauren,

Thank for the message.

Unfortunately, it seems your PC is under the minimum requirement for running Substance 3D Painter (No dedicated GPU and not enough RAM). Therefore, the machine is out of VRAM to render the material and the mesh properly.

I'm afraid I can't help you much more with this one.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanks for letting me know. Any chance an older version of substance painter would work instead?

Maybe. You can try to rollback to whatever version suits your config the most in the Creative Cloud Desktop App.
