I have the two .fbx.
"A_low.fbx" and "A_high.fbx"
and the two fbx have same name meshes. (But it has difference of high and low poly)
I would like to bake the "A_high.fbx" to "A_low.fbx".
Is there way to recognize the high and low by filename suffix?
or, must I need to change the mesh names ? (I know substance painter can recognize by mesh name suffix.)
Hello @Monte Interno,
Just to be clear, the Matching by Name feature from the baking is an option that allows to isolate parts of your mesh based on their name, in order for the baking not to bleed. This is the equivalent as baking with an exploded mesh (as we did in the past), and a very convenient feature, but not mandatory at all.
As long as you work with the A_low.fbx, and that you use the A_high.fbx as the high poly, the baking should work properly, but it isn't related to meshes names.

Tell me if I missed something from your message.
