From photogrammetry I have a wooden chair with texture. The wood is glossy so it reflects light at certain angles. Now I was looking into Substance painter baked lighting filter to remove the shinyness, but actually that is doing the opposite... it's a baked lighting generator.
Now I'm new to substance painter, what do you suggest I should do to remove or at least make less gloss on the diffuse map?
Any help is very appreciated.

Hi,
You could change the roughness channel to obtain a rougher material. You could also use the stamp tool to remove any highlights on your basecolor. Otherwise, you could use Sampler to properly delight your basecolor.

changing the roughness channel only results in changing the added gloss. Indead I was looking into the stamp tool. but this is quite basic, compared to photoshop. would be nice to stamp only on top of very light ereas and no darker than certain amount. At least, I couln't find a setting for this. It's different from the photoshop stamp tool. But if you think this is the way to go I will try again. maybe needs to get used to.
