Hello, I ll would like to know if it s possible after made a copy instance layer to remove (unlink this instance).

For example I v a layer (yellow) I ll duplicate in instance to have the same colour everywhere.

But at a moment if I ll decide in a texture set to change the color (but not the source).

How can I ll unlink it to change the color in this specific texture set.

Thanks by advance for your help.

Best regards.

Hi @Eric30770838y2ir,

Unfortunately not. Layer instancing doesn't allow to break the link or edit the Target instance for technical reasons.

Maybe the Anchor Point will help you with your project. It exposes a resource/element from the layer stack. It's another workflow for linking parameters, but the Anchor Points only work in the same texture set.

Another workaround would be to duplicate the Instance source and copy paste it in the desired texture set.

Best regards,

Thanks for the response.

It also the workaround I'll use.

Hope they made one day the possibility to uninstance.

Best regards.
