LiveLink seems to be broken with unreal engine 4.24 on various versions after 6.1.3
I see a few posts about this with no resolution. I am in a bit of a situation as now that Adobe owns Substance products.. I cannot gain access to the subscription key file to be able to use 6.1.3 - so after about 24 hours of trying to get something working im really struggling.
dcc-live-link] No defined association with the exported '$mesh_$textureSet_BaseColor(.$udim)' map
is the error - Live link was/is fine on 6.1.3 but it wont work on versions after that.
It is such a great feature and the idea of manually importing and plugging in hundreds of materials and textures is just not possible in my situation.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I have tested with various versions including the latest and I get that same error. I have re-installed the live link plugin in case it had some update.. Obviously being a project full of code - migrating to a newer version of Unreal is off the cards at this crucial moment.
Any help or advice would be great!

I spoke to a helpful person on the telephone support and have managed get 6.1.3 licenced.

I'm in the same situation, it's such a great connection and workflow helper but it just wont work with 7.4.1
I bought permanent Steam version so not sure if i can go back, i might have to speak to support.
Is yours working alright with 6.1.3 then?

Hi, the livelink was a beta feature and we have currently removed it. We are exploring it for UE5. Please stay tuned.

the addition of such feature to UE5 would certainly be a game changer! Please make it happen!
I have installed 7.2.0 and it seems to work even though the system is very confusing. I'll just have to assess whether is feasible to carry on with it

When will this be returned? This was an integral part of our workflow that's now removed. It's a real pain if you end up with a complicated model that needs a lot of textures updated or hooked up in Unreal.

It's been 2 years Adobe, please make Live Link available for UE5 5.3 and 5.4. We were so excited to have Adobe and Substance in Unreal. Thanks
