When will the tutorials be live again? Any alternatives?

When you startup PT you get a splashscreen with a link to online tutorials. Ever since I own the software, the link leads to an error page! I am having a hard time to just find a simple tutorial about handpainting without all the smartmaterials and what not! 🙂

Will the tutorials ever be live again and can someone point me to a tutorial about just plain handpainting a model in PT?

Thanks for your time!

Hi @Sylvan3D,

Wow, that's crazy I've never realized that. Thanks for the report! I'll try to make the link work properly.

If you're looking for a pure 100% hand painted tutorial, I'm not sure I'll be able to find you something. You maybe have already seen it, but I love this tutorial from Jared Chavez, who is a great texture artist.

Thank you! I have indeed seen this but he is going too fast and often assumes I know what he is doing. He is starting off with baking and although I know what baking is, I have no idea how to do it in PT. I am already lost at the first step. (yes, I am a beginner BEGINNER)
I am now going through Abobe's tutorials, but they are often outdated and I have to Google every now and then where certain tabs and settings have been renamed or moved to after 3 years of updates.
I'm getting there!

That such a huge company as Adobe has an introduction page to removed content is baffling to me.
