Hi everyone, I've started studying substance and I need help.

I added grunge, chose three planar projections so that UV seams were not visible, this effect appeared on the edges of the blade along the entire length. what am i doing wrong?

Hello @Serj Serj,

From the screenshot you sent, I can see a Fill effect on your Layer. Is there something in it?

With that being said, strongly deformed UVs could create issues, even with Tri-Planar, so I'd advise to make sure the UVs are clean.

Keep me informed,

Hello, thanks for your reply. Yes, everything is fine with uv. got a hint that the stretching could be due to insufficient geometry so I added the edges closer to the edge of the blade, the closer I placed them to the edge of the blade the less the stretching effect became. was this a problem in the lack of geometry?Screenshot_3.png

The density of the mesh shouldn't change the UVs. Would you mind sharing your 3D model? You can obviously send it to me privately if you don't wish to share it here.
