Can there be more embroidery colors available?

Why is embroidery limited to a maximum of 6 colors? This makes me very limited. Most embroidery colors are often more than 6, especially when I want to make an embroidery patch on clothes!

This is the embroidery pattern I want to add. If there is any solution, please let me know. Thank you very much!

Hello @锦阳28647702ckwc,

This can be frustrating indeed. Usually, we advise to combine multiple Embroidery generators in order to have more control (as suggested in the video presentation of the generator), or to use the legacy generator, which has a maximum of 10 colors.

Best regards,

I have watched this video, but I have found that embroidery filters always fail to recognize small colors, such as black stroke edges. I cannot create a separate image for each color

The old filter no longer exists, Cyril Dellenbach seems unaware, and has sent an expired URL

The link to the Embroidery Legacy filter that Cyril gave works perfectly and is not deprecated: https://substance3d.adobe.com/community-assets/assets/82dc100d0f10be2149968a9c8ead3d73fdd845fa

Documentation has been updated.
Regarding the question on why there is ony 6 colors, is because most of used embroidery machines work with 6 colors.
The filter might struggle to process little areas, we recommend to use SVGs or bigger images.

Thank you!
