Prreviously when clicking "Add a layer" I was able to add dirt. It does not appear there anymore.

I have had to roll back to the previous version.

How did you get it into the layeres stack in your screenshot and why does it say 1 filter needs update?

We found an issue with the Dirt filter. A bugfix version (4.4.1) is coming asap that will solve the problem.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I find out that updating previous version shows that updating note. But after clean reinstalling of recent build it disappear. In latest build you can find dirt texture which allows to add dirt effect to material.

Ares Hovhannesyan,

Yes you are correct. I uninstalled the previous version before updating to the latest version. I have found that this often seems to be make the software more stable (obviously just updating Sampler results in some files being left from previous installs... which is highlighted by the fact that I did not have the dirt filter when uninstalling before updating.

I am not sure from your screenshot above how to apply dirt.  I understand that you have dragged the dirt from the Teture generators to the layer stack and placed it above the mud material layer.

This then asks the user to select a usage.  Selecting base color does not apply the dirt... it applies the Fill filter and only affects the Base Color.

However, if you add the Dirt Filter to the Layer stack, check "Use Surface Imperfection" and select dirt from the Texture generators list... It now behaves as it should... by affecting Roughness, Normal and Height whilst giving the user control over each of these channels.
Can you please confirm once again that the Dirt Filter will still be included in future updates and give me an ETA as to when this will be rerleased.

Thanks.
