Can anyone tell me why I have so many parts to my image on the right hand view. Would this cause my program to close without doing anything.

For the past week or so I have been experiencing the program just closing on its own when I go to post processing screen.

I have attached a screenshot.

Slow 🙂

Intel i7 8700K

32GB 3000Mhz RAM

1080 Ti

Programs are stored on a NVME SSD

The above specs I would expect slow processing but not the problems I have attached.

Hello,

What you're seeing in the 2D view are the UVs (2D projection of the texture) of your scanned asset. The raw texture is 16K by 16K. That could explain what you're experiencing.

The multiple UV islands are a common thing on raw photogrammetry captures.

Is there a way of getting rid of them. The photos are JPEG and this never used to happen, only beeen happening the past few weeks.

Would that cause sampler to close during post processing as thats another problem I have been having.
