Hi, just wondering if you can help. Everytime I try to export a Substance 3D Sampler file in the export window under general settings, the mesh settings section is selectable but the material settings isn't ticked and I cant select anything (this seems to happen everytime, and I have watched videos on YouTube and it works with everyone else).
I have included two screenshots
Also when i use the image to material (AI powered) option it either makes the textures completely different or put weird dark shapes, makes it darker and seems to lower the resolution on the face of the object. I'm sure there must be settings, but as you will see on the sample to the right there seems to be artifacts and I can't remove them.
Thank you for your help in advanced

Can you share your Sampler file or describe steps how you create Sampler file?. Also please share your image file (the one for creating Ai Material) for testing. Thanks

Hi @LeesVisuals,
Thanks for the message.
This is in fact the expected behavior. For the export of 3D models, some format have textures embed inside the file (such as USD, USDZ, GLB, etc.) and other have not. Therefore, some format have the material settings enabled and some haven't.
Regarding the Image to Material, it wasn't intended to be used on UV set textures, but on real life pictures, so the result can be a bit unpredictable. In addition, I2M has a Delighting feature for removing shadows and I'm pretty sure this is the current issue right here.
Best regards,

Hmmm that's interesting... From my knowledge, this shouldn't be the behavior, and I can't reproduce, even with @LeesVisuals file.
I'll try to dig deeper into the issue.
