Although this filter is rarely used, I have found that it cannot adjust the density of paper. Although the proportion can be adjusted, the basic quantity has not increased or decreased. Therefore, I think this filter needs to add an option to adjust the density of paper

Hi,
This filter is meant to be used with atlases to splatter objects on the material surface.
Can you detail a bit more what you are trying to achieve so we can understand better?
What do you mean by "density of paper"?
Thanks.

@Lory3D The meaning is to be able to control the density of quantity

You can edit the Grid Size and the Scale, which is basically the density. Are you looking for something else?
Let us know.

@Cyril Dellenbach Yes, if I don't adjust the grid size and proportion, how can I make the number of paper pieces sparser or more?

You're maybe looking for the Position Random parameter? Could you maybe share a visual of what you're trying to achieve?

Yes, no problem. With the grid size and proportion unchanged, I applied an unwanted amount of paper inside the mask! Remember, it's when the scale and grid size remain unchanged! So the quantity has decreased, what I mean is that this filter lacks the option to adjust the quantity (density)! The first image has the default effect without a mask. In the second image, I added a mask to make the quantity look less!
Perhaps you would say that adding masks can reduce the quantity, but I think it's more convenient to have a quantity option instead!

I understand better, thanks for the explanation! Currently, in order to edit the "Density" you'll have to reduce the Grid Size and the Scale of the Shape, or (as you did in your example) use a custom mask.
We don't have any plan on this regard for now, but I'll make sure the team sees your suggestion.
Thanks for the feedback.
