Adobe 3D Stage Render . Never finishes

Hey, I am a long time user of Painter and I finally downloaded Stage to test. I went through the tour and tried to render the final default scene, it never finished. I thought oh well, maybe this is too heavy for my GPU so I went back for a clean scene and added only a backdrop and a plane. I am trying to render in 512, max time 60 scs, full res. It simply never ends. My screen is showing me the "it can take some time etc" warning and the render never completes after several minutes.

Bit disappointing.

I have just read the forum posts and went to check my NVidia drivers, they are all up-tp-date.

Anyone knows what could be causing the render to never finish?

From your screenshot, you have switched to the render view but haven't started the actual render. Click the blue "Render" button on the lower right.
