Hi there,

How can I access the rotation settings for the enviornment when its rotated via the shift-RMB shortcut? Rotating the environment with shift-RMB way does not affect the global environment rotation setting that you can access when selecting the environment. I don't know why these are separated in the first place. I'm trying to match the lighting in another scene but can't figure out the rotation values for the environment since i adjusted it using shift-rmb.

You can use Environment Light Propertis and Tool for Rotation environment. There are also a bunch of property that are not visible. Just scroll properties panel.

Hi Ares!

Im aware of those settings. I was pointing out how when you rotate the environment with shift+RMB, the rotation is not reflected in the settings you have in your screenshot. The rotation in those settings stay at 0. So therefore, I seem to have no way to say the same rotation in another file using the same hdri.
