render my synthesized material to get realistic effect and shadow

hi guys~

 

i am trying to build a high-resolution synthesized material dataset to feed my shadow-removal neural architecture. so i wanna know is Stager a suitable tool to realize it?

 

the key points are all about the realism and diversity of shadows in rendering.

That is a very hard question to answer without much more detail, but if I understand correctly, you are looking for a tool to help build your dataset. In that case, Stager would not be useful. You would be better to look at Substance Designer or even another tool entirely, such as Blender. These use node-based material synthesis which I'm guessing is closer to what you need.

Now i am trying a workflow like Substance 3D Sampler to UE5. Sampler can directly provide me with the atlas I need to create realistic surface materials. Import UE5 to set up lighting and shadow effects (UE happens to be an existing tool). What do you think of this workflow? Do you have any suggestions?

I don't work with UE, but you have plenty of choices to export from Sampler that UE can read. You could probably get the most useful information here.
