Hi community,
since I got a high resolution monitor I can hardly read the menu and elements in stager.
I coud not find any place where to switch to larger font in stager, no hint in documentation or elsewhere on Adobe.
Does anyone hav same problem, please help.
Thank you
Hans

That not possible. Only there is option for UI in preferences to change it to Comfortable or Condensed.

Hi Ares,
that´s no good news. I wonder why Adobe does not give much attention to UI. In order to use substance modules high resolution hardware is elemental, but UI not?
As CC and Substance customer I wonder that Adobe as leading developer of visible solutions acts like this.
Thanks for your advice.

Hello @hjl67936945,
As Ares mentioned, you can switch the UI behavior between Comfortable or Condensed by going to
Edit > Preferences > General > UI Spacing
However, I don't think this will significantly affect the issue.
If you haven't done so already, you could also check the Windows display settings to ensure that the scaling is set to the recommended level.
I can assure you we are giving attention to the UI, and hopefully not many people encounter the same issue (with that being said, if other people meet a similar problem, please let us know).
To be fair, dealing with scaling has always been a complicated subject for all the software. Various factors can influence the windows behavior including: Scaling, screen size, resolution, multiple displays, etc.
I'd appreciate to have a screenshot of your Stager window, and the specs of your display. This would allow us to make some tests on our end under the same conditions.
Best regards,

@Cyril Dellenbach - This is indeed an issue that people will encounter. Please see the attached screen shot. Notice the difference between the default size of the Photoshop GUI in comparison to Stager. Stager is drastically smaller. Thus, we have the conditions for a poor user experience. The objects are just too small. Working under these conditions can lead to eye strain.
Please note: I already have Windows Display scaling set to 125%. Regardless, I can't be asked to change Windows Scaling or open the Windows Magnifier every time I want to use an app. That is unacceptable.
Also, the GUI in Substance Designer is slightly larger than Stager by default. However, it is still not the same size as other, standard applications, e.g. Photoshop.
My request would be that the Substance GUIs are (at least) the same size as other Creative Cloud apps by default. Alternatively, you could offer some way for the user to scale the GUI to a preferred size.
Furthermore, all the Substance apps should use the same GUI conventions in regards to text size, icon scale, panel width, etc. Currently, they all seem to use different sizes and scaling. This is a usabilty issue. Consistency is key when developing a suite tools that are all designed to work together.
Thank you for your time.

Adobe Illustrator allows to scale UI. And I use it.
