Is it possible to save a material modified in Stager for latter use?  Perhaps as a preset withing the material or as a new material?

I would like to be able to take a material that I've tweated in one sesion of Stager and use it in a new scene.

This is unfortunately not possible yet but something we're looking at for the future.

This request is on-point. Let's make this happen! So many tweaks to materials... would be nice to be able to recall them.

This is in the for its worth department since it does not  specifically adress my original post.

Basically I have given up on Stager and Painter for a number of reasons; the lack of an ability to save materials was one.  I had several crashes, very slow renders and distorted renders.

My purpose for Stager was to do renders of 3D objects and scenes that I could render for use in photocompositing in Photoshop.

After a bit more looking I have found a solution that works quite well, but nothing is perfect, for me:  This is Keyshot 10 Pro for Zbrsuh.  Keyshot 10 is a very sophisiticated software for rendering scenes and simple animations.  While it can do many things, inclundng render passes for use in Photoshop, it was not too hard to learn.  The "for Zbrush" means that you need to load your models into Keyshot via Zbrush or ZbrushCORE.  This could be a significant issue if you want to import CAD files in a productilon setting.  But it reduces the price very dramatically.  So for me as a hobbyist who already used ZBrushCORE and mostly obj files the price for a peretual liscence was reasonable.
