I don't know how Adobe failed to recongnize the power of cloud and team projects. At first, it was exciting. But by the end, it was so incredibly fustrating. Teams and Cloud should be like a Google Drive, where you drop everything and all the files sync to only the project folder being worked on. The current set up is: create a team project, link assets from a cloud library, then link media from personal computer, and then deal with linking all the media if things are moved. And if your media is deleted from local drive, it screws the whole project. You should be able just to drag media into your teams project and it goes to the cloud and is only referenced within the project scope (like a drive). You should be able create templated team projects as well to enable creating a new team project with all the same media and everything.
For example: I have a team project "template" with all the media inside already on the cloud. Then I should be able to edit my photoshop files and other graphics for that specific project. Than add footage unique to that project. And not have to drag it to cloud, create a folder in cloud, then export a project, and reimport it as a new team project, and then drop the media, and relink all the missing stuff because the folder changed.
Sometimes it just links to the original folder and screws it up after you edit it and your template has forever changed (if you forget about relinking). Its not that complicated. Should be: #1 create team project from templated one, #2 edit the assets that are unique to that project without affecting anything outside the scope of that project, #3 add footage and merge it with everything to create a finished product. And I should be able to see all my projects in my creative cloud (not just the app itself). And be able to delete and copy them easily. Why do you insist on archiving before delete? Thats so pointless. Either archive or delete. And why isn't photoshop included in team projects. I want to add graphics that I know how to do in photoshop to my team project. Otherwise I have to create a new folder in cloud, add stuff, and relink it.
Overall, really disappointed about this product. Its pretty useless unless you're really adpt with the intrecacies of everything. For example, onboarding someone who has limited knowledge on everything is a daunting thing (hard to explain). And why is it so hard to have an infinitely scrolling text effect (shouldn't that be something available?). Thats not something that should require a coder.
Have something to add?
