A severe bug has hampererd our multi editor workflow. When two or more users are within a Team Project, all of a sudden:
Please keep in mind, the sequence is not read only. Each editor has full acess to make edits and maniupulate the squence in other ways. Duplicating the sequence or copying and pasting the contents of the sequence to a new one doesn't work fix this. Saving the Team project as a new one doesn't work. Saving as a local project and then creating a new project doesn't work. We've exhausted our usual fixes for weird Premiere problems.
We're on 25.1.0 and did not have this problem when running Premiere 2024. We've tried the beta to no avail. This happens across machines and Adobe user accounts. We're on a combination of stock M2 Mac Studios and 2020 Intel iMacs (stock meaning- no additional hardware like an audio interface).
After much wasted time between myself and the rest of my team, the only other insight I can provide is that if multiple editors are in the project working from our local server, things are fine. AS SOON as an editor creates a media mapping, the entire project breaks until that user leaves.
Our only solution we have for now is to work in our Team projects with just one editor. It kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

How does the editor create the media mapping, does the Publish button light up after the media mapping was created (creating a media mapping should not enable the Publish button)?

The publish button does not turn on.
However, after a lot of testing, it seems that if we have a project pulling media from our sever and every editor can "delete all media mappings" and we're still able to access the media, then we can have multiple people in the project and it functions correctly. I don't know if this is related to proxies or media location, but we were initially able to get a few folks into the project when working off our server. Unforuantely, we can't keep messing with this trying to fix it, so we've all started editing in our own team projects in an effort to get our current projects done.

@Udo_Pawlik Are there any updates on this issue? My company and group of users can't be the only ones running into this problem. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not able to reproduce the problem on my end but will follow up with you via email.

Hi, @Udo_Pawlik. I sent you a screen recording demonstrating the issue. Thanks for following up.

Same problem here,
In a teams project the audio solo and mute buttons are not working properly.
Solo doesn't appear to work at all.
Mute does work.
There's also an intermittent outline around the mute buttons.
We tried creating a new sequence and pasting in the edit to new sequence, it seemed to work at first but once published and updated with another user the problem came back.

This is an issue that Adobe is supposedly working on, but I haven't heard much on their progress. Although this is a pretty significant issue, it's not published anywhere or included on the known issues page. I'm sure this is affecting many users. We've had to convert our team projects to local projects and just lose the team functionality. We have work to get done and that was the quickest and easiest workflow modification.
Interestly, we're experiencing this issue beyond the original set of criteria used to reproduce it: it's now happening in team projects with no other users online. That's a change we've run into recently and I wonder if Adobe is messing with Team Projects server side. I'm not convinced there aren't other things happening behind the scenes, or other instances that cause this to happen (maybe related to media management), but that's pure speculation until we hear anything from Adobe.

Same here. Team Project. Solo not working. Can't record VO either. We backdated to vs 24 and now not working there either. It was an intermittent problem but somehow becomes less intermittent with time until eventually projects are impossible to work with.

It seems that soloing and gain are not working as expected if another collaborator works on different sequence which uses the same media.
A possible workaround is to 'Drag & Drop' or 'Copy & Paste' the sequence into a ‘Linked Team Project’, perform the edits and when done, copy & paste the sequence back into the ‘original’ project - Linked Team Projects
