Hi- I have a 2020 iMac 27" 10th generation i7 Intel Core with OS Monterey v12.7.4 and Premiere 24.2.1 installed. The Edit/Convert to Teams Project menu option is greyed out. I updated from the earlier version of 2024 to the current but was no help. And then uninstalled Premiere to re-install the latest version 24.6.2 but the Convert to Team option is still not available.
Also the File/New/Create New Team Project option is not listed in the pull down menu. I also created a New Project and browser imported the original project but only the sequences opened in the new project. And Teams conversion was still greyed out.
Any ideas as to why I can not convert to a Team Project?
thx!
Following up: Called Adobe Support - Ratish assessed my iMac he concluded the apps were corrupted so all Adobe apps had to be scrubbed. He cleaned up and cleaned out all adobe software, preferences, files, and also updated some mac files. Simple updates and normal uninstall did not fix it. Starting with a up to date mac and completely clean install of all current software did. Now works as expected. Thank you!

Hi Randell,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Are you able to send a screen grab/ recording of what you're seeing? Also, when you are on the home screen when you first open Premiere are you able to create a new team project from that page?

Interesting. Looking into this. When you go to the Home Menu does it appear in the bottom left? Can you also confirm you're using 24.6.1 (build 2) and not 24.6.2?

Why is the Convert to Team Project greyed out? Is there a work around??

For that I will have to dig in a bit more as I'm not able to reproduce it on my end. Hopefully that workaround will get you up and working.

I have uninstalled the preferences and the Premiere app. Restarted iMac 2x to be sure the memory cache is cleared. re-installed Premiere 24.6.1 . All my prefs are gone. That's expected.
Open Premiere and thn the project file-
Convert to Team Project still greyed out . And when I try to use the Create New Team Project on the Home Menu screen- it crashes Premiere. Any thoughts??
