I'm working on a rather large Team Project in 15.4.0 and I noticed after a very long day yesterday that the little "share changes" arrow never appeared. I've made many thousands of changes so I got worried and went to close down the project to force a save. It gets stuck on the Save Team Project dialog at the very beginning of the "Scanning for modified assets" step. I left it here overnight and it never moved. I attemped to convert to a standard project but since it needs to do this save step before that, it gets stuck in the same place.
As you can see in the screengrab from the Versions dialogue, it says I am "disconnected from Team Projects" despite having a solid internet connection (which I have also tried resetting) and confirming I'm signed into my account. The Auo-Saves dialogue shows 0 auto-saves despite having not gotten the dreaded "failed to auto-save" error in a couple days. I'm terrified to shut this project down without saving because I have no idea what state it will be in when I reopen it.
Can someone help explain what's going on here? Is there a way I can manually check the latest save in explorer (I'm on Win10)? A way to manually connect to Team Projects since I have somehow become disconnected? Fearing my only alternative is to copy the entire project into a new one manually but also worried that'll be weird. Could use any input!

UPDATE: While trying to copy sequences over to a backup project, Premiere crashed. The Team Project did not show in my recents when I restarted. Last save was a day ago. Loaded up the project and lose hours and hours of work because there's no way to save a Team Project. Absolutely under no circumstances will I ever use a Team Project again. Might as well have been writing this project in the sand of a beach.

Yowza, what a mess.
The engineers do hang here more than other PrPro forums, so hopefully a dev will have some comment today.
My main comment would be some advice for moving forward. I learned the very hard way years ago to always, always do a manual save process every so often. First, it seems at times PrPro doesn't start the auto-save until the user has saved the project. And second ... because auto-saves can't save you if you've been working for quite a while and some bit of corruption got into the project file or a seuquence but didn't interfere with your work. Which happened to me.
Doing manual saves, and also save-as to an iteritive name and continuing are huge backstops for things like this. Which don't need a Team Projects workflow to happen.
Why on earth it's showing you as disconnected ... that's just odd. I take it your Collaboration tab of the Preferences shows you're using Team Projects at the top, and your Adobe username is entered in the Username slot ...

What's the process for a manual save in Team Projects? I couldn't find one. (Assuming you're not talking about a manual conversion as a backup which I mentioned was not possible in this case because it forces a save which would not complete before the conversion). And, in this case, since no auto-saves were actually saved, my guess is that whatever process logs the changes simply stopped working at some point so it probably wouldn't have mattered.
If there was a "Save a local copy" button I wasn't aware of I'll be mighty angry but, also, until such a button exists, Team Projects seem to me like a ticking timebomb.
But, yes, the Collaboration settings and login were verified. Something just stopped working without throwing a warning and I'm out 10 hours.

That's right, in Team you need to save to a new project. Which my partner and I have done every so often during a collaboration. Though not more than once a week.
He didn't like building up too many Cloud saves so he was pretty stickler about project versions.
That is just bizarre that it's thrown you out ... hopefully @mgoshey1 will pop in ...

Hi, I'm sorry for your troubles with Team Projects.
Looking at the screenshots it appears that there might be a problem with process that is responsible fo maintaining and synchronizing local Team Projects data. I'll send you an email to gather some more information from you.
'Save As' will create a new Version of the current Team Project or you can try to save a copy as a local .prproj file via 'Edit > Team Project > Convert Team Project to Project'.
Best,
Udo

Hi Udo, this too is happening to me. I've had it happen on multiple projects and luckily it hasn't been more than a large annoyance. Any updates to keep this from happening would be appreciated.

So this thing has been happening since 2021?
I have the same issue with my team project stuck in "scanning for modified assets" step

Hi @LTA DO VIDEOS, sorry for your troubles. A fix for the "Team Project not fully loading" issue will ship in the upcoming 25.2 build. For the time beeing using the Beta build is the best option.
