Premiere Team Project: Infinite duplicating timelines

New Here ,
Sep 11, 2024 Sep 11, 2024

Premiere Teams projects are incorrectly flagging every single sequence as being edited at once by one of our users. This duplicates every single timeline faster than we can delete the sequences. This happens even when the user is not using the program at all, or has made any changes.

I know Adobe is fully aware of this bug from other threads I've read, however has failed to give any meaningful fixes or workarounds for these users. Please help me out–our team needs this for current client work and this is pretty unnaceptable for the price of the subscription.

There is a special Team Projects forum, and the devs monitor that pretty closely. You get staffer response "over there" typically within a few hours.

So I would suggest finding that in the list of Adobe forums, and posting there. I used to have mod powers here, and would change things. But as I don't anymore, I can only advise posting over there.

Hi @Kent37315771o6yh,
Sorry for your troubles, which version of Premiere are you all running and on which platform?

If a collaborator had the project open and a sequence was marked as edited by this user, the lock on the sequence is maintained even when closing the project or the app until any edits are published.
A possible workaround would be to create a duplicate of the Team Project per 'File > Save As...' or via right-click menu in the Media Browser and re-invite the collaborators.
