In the last month we're suddenly having several problems with Team Projects revolving around update/publish. It often manifests with a project that no one else has opened for a long time suddenly saying its view-only because a collaborator is currently editing it. While trying to figure out what's going on, sometimes it'll suddenly start updating without being prompted, but when its done, it'll still say the sequence can't be edited. It got bad enough recently that we got caught in this crazy update publish loop, where we'd try to publish the project and then it would say it had to update first and then it would go back to the publish dialog and then say it had to update again and just keep looping like that until we force quit the project. Anyone seen this and/or know how to fix?

Oh, and i forgot to add that as it was stuck in the loop, it kept generating copies of the sequences until there were many many...

Sorry for your troubles, there are several edge cases that let you get into a continous duplication loop.
But most of the time you can get out of it if all but one collaborator close the project and the collaborator then searches and deletes any erroneously duplicated sequence and then 'Publish' changes. The duplicates usually have "Copy ([user name] 03/27/24)" appended to the sequence name. Other collaborator should do the same in case they're still seeing the duplication message after re-opeing and updating the project.
Alterantively you could try and roll the project back to a version before the duplication loop occurred - Create a new Team Project from a version

Our team has also been stuck in loops, unable to save, publish, or update projects. It's gotten so bad that even if we are working on individual team projects without collaborators, the project file won't save, update, or allow us to publish. It's simply not working as advertised as far as I can tell. I have 4 teams working on 4 films and they are all having the same problems.
