I am collaborating with a client on a team project and when I open the project I receive a error dialog box,
"There was an error opening the TeamProject Error -1609629695. Do you want to open the provious auto-saved version instead".
It will never allow me to open a previous version and cycles back to this dialog box.
Are you able to use the Media Browser to open a previous Auto-Saved version?
Just open any Project and then follow the steps under view auto-saves here: View Team Project auto-saves

Hi, it seems this bug is specific to cases where a local .prproj with preview files was converted to a Team Project. We're currently working on a fix and will make it available in the Beta builds soon.
A possible workaround is to delete the video previews before converting the local .prproj to a Team Project or downgrading to the previous Premiere version.

Udo

A fix for this issue is available in the latest Premiere Pro (Beta) build.
Feel free to post back here or contact me directly if the issue still reproduces.

Hi -
If you open the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app you will see "Beta Apps" in the left hand margin (be sure "Apps" is also selected in the top menu in the app). Once you click on Beta Apps you should be able to see the Premiere Pro Beta buids to install.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Hi Abode folks,
I have a major issue since yesterday.
When I try to open some of my team projects, Premiere tells me an error occured (error code : 1609629695) (=> image attached)
It offers me a choice of openning an older, automatically saved version of the project.
When I do that, it either doesn't work or - even worse - it opens a blank project and definitively erases everything i've done before.
Could anyone please help me on this issue.
I'm absolutely terrified of losing that much data, as these files amount to months (even years) of cumulative work.
Thanks,
Omar

Hi Kevin-Monahan,
Thanks for the anwser. I tried the beta version and it does open the team projects thats PP 22.2 doesn’t.
Question : Does the newly released PP 22.3 fixes it and if yes, do you recommand its installation?
Thanks in advance,
Omar

Hi, still getting the same issue to this day.
I tried opening on Version 22.0 and it didnt work. So i tried going to the 22.6.4 and it also didnt work. The message i get is also "There was an error opening the TeamProject Error -1609629695. Do you want to open the provious auto-saved version instead".
I cant work in Premiere 23 because my coworkers all use 22. How can i solve this?

Hi Udo, I tried using the beta version to solve the error 1609629695, however now I'm getting error 1606156282 and I can't find any workarounds. This is happening with a brand new team project and as soon as I try to copy/paste an asset from another project it shows this error:
Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance

Hi Isa,
We have an existing bug that results in an Auto-Save error when copying a Sequence with remixed audio from a local .prproj into a Team Project. What type of asset are you trying to copy/paste from another project?
Best,
Udo

Hi Udo, I was trying to copy several assets from a local project to a team project, and it didn't work, so I had to upload the assets from the PC directly, and that seemed to work.
Also I keep getting the same error (1606156282) when trying to convert a local project to a team project, both in Beta and in the normal version of Premiere Pro, even if it doesn't have any assets imported to the project before converting.

Update: I think I found what caused the error, I deleted some subtitle presets (.prtextstyle) that were in the project, and it seems to work so far.
