Unable to open past Team Projects in the new premiere update (version 25.0.0 (Build 61)
The bug appears to be with "Processing loaded assets," (image attached) it gets stuck/hangs on this process and freezes the entire program until you force quite.
I've tried clearing/cleaning and also moving my cache database, as well as making sure all permissions are admitted.
System info:
Mac Studio
Chip: Apple M2 Ultra
Memory 64 GB
Please try the latest Beta build (25.2_027 or later), the "Team Project not fully loading" issue should be resolved.

M2 Max, M3 Pro and M3 Max - all same issue. Have tried opening a blank team project and then my actual project and same thing. Adobe support is useless.

Are you referencing any PSD files?
I found that once I removed all PSDs from my AE files - I was able to load the project in premier pro.
I'm able to open up the team project in AE just fine, but it gets stuck every time in PR when there are PSDs involved it seems.

Yup, total trial and error.

Sorry for your troubles, the best option would be to use the current Premiere Pro Beta version (25.2) which can be installed side by side with the release versions via Creative Cloud Desktop.

I have a current Premiere Pro Beta version (25.2) and it doesn't work

Here's the workaround for me. Open a new project, go to the edit tab and than import your old project, save it as a new project.

You need to try to import through Media Browser into a new local project in 2024.

We are talking about opening 2024 team projects into a new 2025 team project. Importing thru media browser does not work

Yeah that's what I'm talking about too. Read the other comments in this thread. There is a solution that worked great for me for that exact problem, but I'm not going to explain what has already been said.
In short, you need to scrap using team project in 2025 and revert it to 2024 for now. There is a workaround to do it that way.

Ok. Well my 2024 team projects are fine. I made copies before trying 2025. I would like adobe to concentrate on fixing 2025.

This might be an issue with a stalled DynamicLink process - Can you try to open the project in the current Premiere Pro (Beta) build?

Tried opening in the beta but this didn't fix anything for me.
Still stuck loading 'Processing loaded assets', and 'Loading individual asset descriptions'.

opening in Premiere Beta does not work either

There are some smaller 2024 team projects that seem to import into 2025 fine. I'm not sure what the deal is... if it's the size of the larger ones that don't work, or certain video codecs. But I have tried eliminating all the odd codecs from the project and team projects 2025 will still not open the larger ones.

Had been having this issue immediately after installing 25 a few weeks back, then for the last few days it seemed to have resolved itself and my project opened and I was able to work on it for the past two days. Foolishly didn't make an offline backup at the end of the day so now of course we are back it today with the freezing at 70%. Am also on a fairly tight deadline with a feature film.
Has anyone had any luck with getting Adobe to even acknowledge the issue?

This has become a major issue today.
Moving away from Team Projects in 25 update as just too risky.
Please can this be fixed.
Force quitting / cache resetting / creating new Team Project doesnt work.

How is Adobe not treating this bug more seriously?
This bug they introduced is literally screwing with thousands of customer's projects.

Don't thank your oppressors. This was their fault and incompetence for not properly QA'ing their product we pay monthly for because of their cost-cutting.

Not my oppressor. There was a lot of back and forth to get it right. And they never gave up. Thank you Udo!

This worked, but me and my coworker are actually in an uncomfrotable situation working on premiere beta.
Hope this issue will be fixed soon...
