Hi,
We are trying to implement Team Projects into our pipeline but have run into an issue. The owner of the project shared her changes on a mac and a collaborator has pulled those changes onto his PC. After successful rempaing, he realized he can't actually open the sequence in the timeline. Right-clicking on the sequence from the media browser only gives him to options: "import," which does nothing and "open in source monitor," which doesn't allow you to edit the sequence. There is no option to edit the sequence in the timeline. Not sure what we're doing wrong. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!

ONLY the original creator of the project connects to the media via either the Project panel or the Media Browser.
ALL other users need to connect to the media on their system via the Edit/Team Projects/Media Management dialog. In their help files, look for "manage media".

Hi Rinrin,
You mention that the collaborator is able to open the Team Project and create a media mapping.
In this case, the sequence should be available to open via the 'Team Project' panel - "Window > Projects > Team Project: [Name]".
Feel free to send me an email if you still run into problems.
Best,
Udo

Has the person who has edited the sequence first checked out? It is probably still locked because the changes haven't been submitted yet
