Teams Project can't update or publish

Hello,

Hoping someone can help us here. I'm editing a feature doc with my co-director using Team Projects, which has been good up to now for the most part. But at present on one of the two edits, we're unable to either 'update' or 'publish' any changes, and I'm effectly locked out. Both 'update' and 'publish' are in blue - so I'm able to select them, but when I do, the task dialogue window flashes open for a second only to diappear without completing the action.

Yesterday an error with the project not updating a sequence has led to the project creating a several copies. This has that's happened several times before, but hasn't previously been a problem. It's quite urgent we get the project up and running again as we're approaching a deadline, but there doesn't seem to be any solution at this stage.

We've tried the other Team Project users updating and reconciling, but nothing seems to work.

Please help! Thank you

Further - if I want to exit the project at any stage, I get the same result when I try to 'publish'. I'm only able to actually quite Premiere if I select 'do not publish'.

Hi,
Sorry for your troubles. Would it be possible to invite me [upawlik@adobe.com] to the Team Project and/or could you send me a screen capture that shows the issue directly to my email?

Best,
Udo

Hello - apologies for never getting back to you. The problem appeared to resolve itself over night, and while it has occurred a couple of times since then, it's always corrected itself after some time.

The issue we're having now is that it's not possible to either save or publish the project. A dialogue box has popped up (only since I've tried to save) saying that the auto-save function isn't working. But now I'm unable to either save or publish the project. Since I can't be sure how long it's been since a save was completed, and I've been on the project all day, I don't really want to close the project and risk losing my work.

Could you advise?

Thanks

To be clear - Premiere isn't telling me that it hasn't saved, or that it can't save the work. It's simply saying that the auto-save function isn't working. However it appears to be both the save and publish functions that are faulty as well. I'm stuck on an endless dialogue box of Premeire attempting to save...

Sorry for your troubles. When working in a Team Project every edit is auto-saved locally and then periodically synced to the server. If we run into an issue where saving is failing we show the message that you're probably seeing. It might actually show you how long ago the last successful save was.
We have a catch 22 in order to publish, the projects needs to be saved but we can't save because of some issue. At this point it's recommended to close and re-open the project. Any edits that occurred after the message was shown will likely be lost. You can try to drag the sequence(s) you've been working on to a new project to preserve your edits.
