Hi there, me and my team have started including Team Projects with our work flow, it’s been going smoothly for the past few days until we ran into a dead end as our project stopped saving. Everytime we tried to save it froze on the loading (i.e. push to other collaborators) screen indefinitely; this also happened when trying convert it into a regular PP project. Bottom line we could not save the work, which set our editor back 5-6 hours, half a days work was lost. There was a SaveAll option which seemed to create an auto-save but we are unable to find that file. Would you have an idea where we can find that auto save file? The project data seemed to have been pushed somewhere when doing “save all”. In its current state the TeamProjects function seems rather unreliable if we can’t save or auto-save in any way. Thanks!

Please can you verify the version of Premiere you are using??

If you are using the latest version 12.0.0 then you can view the auto-saves in the Media Browser. Choose Edit>Team Project>Browse Auto-Saves to bring the view to front.

Also, what does the sync status indicator display in the bottom left hand corner next the the Creative Cloud icon?? Please hover over it to get the a tooltip of the sync status with the server.

Thanks,

Paul

Could you please let us know if you are using Premiere Pro 11.1 or 12.0?

Also, please note the following important distinctions:

  • File -> Save All does not normally do much of anything in Team Projects as your work is saved automatically all the time.
  • File -> Save As will create a brand new Team Project using the current Team Project as a basis.
  • Edit -> Team Project -> Convert Team Project to Project... will create a new standalone Premiere Pro project (prproj) as a snapshot of the Team Project, leaving the existing Team Project untouched.

To create a standalone backup of your Team Project, you should use the last option (Convert Team Project to Project...). Could you please try this and let us know if it works for you?
