I'm working on a Premiere team project with one other person. Generally it's working very well. However, we have both noticed that when Premiere prompts us to share changes, it wants to share changes to sequences that we have not touched since our previous sync. This means that it wants me to share changes to a timeline that my colleague is working on, even though I have not touched or even opened that sequence. This is causing us to constantly have to resolve conflicts and it's beomcing a lot to keep track of.
The share dialogue is indicating these are asset changes. What could be causing this behavior?

I'm trying to think ... when I have not worked on a sequence and it says there's something to share with me, I just accept ... and there's not been need of a resolving conflict step.
So I'm trying to puzzle why this is coming up for your process.

The issue is when I go to share my changes, it wants me to share changes to sequences I havent opened or edited. This then creates a conflict when my colleague has been working on that sequence.

Hi Jbelz,
What version of PremierePro are you using? When you have no pending changes and you get the lastest changes from a collaborator, does your 'Share my changes' button light up right after getting latest changes?

Both of us are on 14.3.1
I just ran a test. We were full sycned and then my collaborated shared a small change. It did not prompt me to share changes.

Any other thoughts? This is a pretty frustrating bug.

Can you see if this issue also reproduces in the Beta version?
I'm also sending you a PM.
Best,

How do I test the beta version?

You should have 'Beta apps' menu item under 'Categories' in the Creative Cloud app.
You can install the Premiere Beta version side by side to the released version.
