Team Project Auto Save Restoration: Unknown Exception

I am getting an "Unknown Exception" when trying to restore After Effects composition Auto Saves from within the Team Project media browser panel. I was on 17.5.1 and upgraded to 17.7.0, no difference.  I am getting the same thing on a 2016 Macbook Pro running Catalina and a PC running Windows 10.

All the media and folders necessary for the composition I am trying to restore import (duplicating files already in the proejct) but the composition itself needed to be restored never comes in.

I have tried various saves throughout the history, and have tried to restore in various projects and older versions of AE, but this error persists. Very important to be able to access these saves or will have lost work. Thank you for your help.

Hi, sorry for your troubles with Team Project.
Does the error message only mention "Unknown Exception" or is there mentioning of an error-id?
Did you just decide to roll back to a previous version or did you run into a crash prior to that?
Have you shared your changes lately, can you create a New Team Project from a previous Version?

I'm also sending you a PM with some more debugging information.

Regards,

Udo

Hello, I am getting this exact same problem.

I managed to create a new team project from a previous version, but is this the only way to revert to a previous version? I dont want to have to start multiple new versions of projects every time we need to roll back.

Any help appreciated, thank you
