Adobe has made some seemilngly important connection between their lame stock library and all the aspects of the applications i use in  my professional work. I hate being barraged by some useless aspect of thier collection just so Adobe can HOPE to make another dollar off of me. which by the way I have been purchasing their upgrades and apps since 1986. YES 1986 so that means i have paid thom over 20 tousand sdollars or more in my career. leave me alone with the stupis stock crap.

Adobe apps are TOOLS like a rake or a hoe. Stop putting a big clown hat on top of them wth this annoying STOCK PHOTO connection!!! its embarassing.

Your objection seems to be with the Splash / Welcome screen?  In that case, turn it off in your Preferences.

... their lame stock library...

Value is like beauty.  It's in the eye of the beholder.  One man's trash is another man's treasure.

In the right hands, one can do some pretty amazing things with Adobe Stock images.

I got this, too, at the beginning.

Turning off the splash screen should fix it.

Stock is generally minor quality photography - but it can help if you are, like me, in California, and need a snow laden background for the images of winter fashion you shot at 90 degrees outside (and the air conditioning of the studio working it down to 68).

You can get lucky and find some good photography if you really look for it. I found some good landscape photography from Russia - where the meager payments the photographers get from stock companies still have some value.

Should turning off the splash screen not help, I'd contact Adobe.

You then have some kind of malfunction.
