I wanted to create an animated GIF but don't really know what Adobe product to use

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct community group to post this question but I wanted to created an animated GIF but am unsure of which Adobe product to use.  I have managed something with Photoshop but I feel I want more sophisticated animation than Photoshop is able to produce.  Such things as having the words fly on from the left or above or whatever.

 

This is what I have achieved so far:

Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

If you are mainly wishing to animate words, text and graphic elements,

I would suggest taking a look at Adobe Animate 🙂

 

Be aware that the more animation and moving objects in your gif, the larger the file size.

Something to think about if it's to go on a web page.

Adobe After Effects is better for this than Animate, IMO.

Export animation to video from AE and import video into PS for conversion to animated GIF.  See below for details.
