We have a project to create "something" that can be read, listened to, and looked at. It will be about 45,000 words of text, at least 50 images (mostly photographs), half-a-dozen voice recordings, eight pieces of music and five or six video/film clips. Can this be done using Adobe?
We would be asking someone to do it for us.
Many thanks
Peter

Which Adobe software are you asking about? How interactive does this need to be?

Sure, depending on some details.
You could build a straight linear piece with all those components as a video using Premiere.
You could start with a PPT and add in video (pre-created or webcam recordings) using Presenter.
If you've got more advanced skills, you could possibly develop as an interactive PDF with InDesign.
Or Adobe Animate could be an option.
With my background in eLearning though, I would likely pick Captivate.
A lot depends on the details of your project.
But regardless, yes, a variety of Adobe programs would likely meet your needs.

Adobe is a company that creates many different software products.
The project you describe could be done as an online website using Dreamweaver or some other web authoring software. The web supports all the elements you require -- images (JPG, PNG, SVG), video (MP4), audio (MP3) and text (HTML). The main advantages of putting it on the web are:
1) Available to anyone with internet access.
2) Accessible to hearing & vision impaired users -- closed captioning & screen readers.
3) Text is translatable on Google Translate.
4) Text can be indexed and searched on Google or Bing.
