Is the Adobe Certified Expert (and eventually the ACI) certification worth having anymore?
This page hasn't been updated since 2015: Certification | Adobe Digital Learning Services
I'm specifically asking about Premiere since it is the application that I support at work.
Are there any ACEs out there that can explain what the benefits would be to both myself and my employer?
Thanks!

Hi JPooley_Hearst:
I can still see how being an ACE could increase your marketability and—if this is valued by your employer—hopefully your income. The ACE exams are tough, and if you can pass them, then you are truely an expert in your field. (Having to study for an exam that is four versions old is a whole other bottle of whiskey.)
I think the ship has sailed for the ACI program. When it was implemented in 1997, it was a strictly-enforced requirement to be able to teach for a an Adobe-certified training center. We were able to get jobs that uncertified trainers could not, and we could command a higher day rate. Adobe stopped enforcing this rule years ago and while some companies pretend that they are still compliant, most are not. Follow this up with the old exams, and no other tangible benefits, I wouldn't recommend following that path unless you are a career instructor and just want to get up to speed on technical training techniques, which will make you a better trainer.
