What if I don't pay cancellation fee?

My credit card Adobe has on file expired months ago. And I just told chat support to cancel my account. Now that Adobe doesn't have any way of charging me, what will happen to the cancellation fee? Naturally I'm strongly against this as I only wanted to use Photoshop for a month but ended up being tiedup for a whole year due to Adobe's sneaky dark-pattern signup process. By the way I live in Sweden and not the U.S., so wouldn't it be difficult for Adobe to involve the authorities or whatever?

Next time read the terms that you agreed to.  https://www.adobe.com/legal/subscription-terms.html https://www.adobe.com/legal/terms.html   Banking regulations vary by region.  So talk to your bank.  But intentionally skipping out of your contractual obligations is no way to improve your credit rating.  Do it enough times and you might find yourself unable to lease or purchase something really important like an apartment or vehicle.

This is the link given by Nancy_OShea.
If you wanted to use it for only one month, it would be wrong to make an annual contract.
I should have contracted monthly.
It's too bad to unilaterally call it an Adobe dark pattern.
By the way, the contract for people who live in countries other than North America is not with Adobe in the United States but with an Adobe subsidiary in Ireland.
